Arvada is a municipality about 7 miles outside of Denver. It is one of the most populated cities with a population of approximately 111,707 residents. Discovered during the gold rush in 1850, it was turned into a settlement as a result of people being interested in the gold that the area had to offer and became more populated during the Pike’s Peak Gold Rush in 1858.
